I have been the technology director for the Sioux City School District for the last 5+ years.  In this role I directly supervise the technology department consisting 21 awesome individuals doing great things!  We have spent the last five years working hard on new SIS implementations, high school 1:1 rollout, classroom technology suites, network upgrades, email migrations, server overhauls, etc.   We even battled a squirrel that took out power to our servers.   The great news is that we have a lot more planned, so stay tuned. Prior to moving to Sioux City, I held various technology leadership roles throughout the United States and overseas serving as a cyberspace operations officer in the US Air Force. I still participate in the military as an Air Force Reserve Lieutentnat Colonel at US Strategic Command in Omaha, Nebraska. I am married with three kids in the Sioux City Schools in 8th, 5th, and 4th grade.  On Saturdays I watch Air Force Football and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
